    Welcome to the IACSE Web page. IACSE is a nonprofit, professional association of more than 5,000 higher education admissions and registration professionals who represent approximately 1,300 institutions in more than 30 countries.

 



 

Formation of IACSE:

IACSE is a Specialized Accrediting Body for Business & Business-Related Degree Programs at the Baccalaureate and Graduate Degree Levels in Colleges and Universities. IACSE measures the effectiveness of Business Education through Outcomes Assessment.

The mission of the IACSE is to provide professional development, guidelines and professional standards to be used by higher education officials regarding the best practices in records management, admissions, enrollment management, administrative information technology and student services. It also provides a forum for discussion regarding policy initiation and development, interpretation and implementation at the institutional level and in the global educational community.

Mission and Goals:

The mission of IACSE is as follows:

"To promote and support quality Business/Management Education worldwide through accreditation and outcomes assessment which involves: (1) the measurement of effectiveness, (2) the measurement of learning outcomes, and (3) the identification of changes and improvements that are needed as a result of the assessment activity."

Its broad-based goals are:
to provide a forum to discuss quality Business Education in colleges and universities throughout the world.
to establish and maintain expectations of quality Business programs for the purpose of granting accreditation.
to assist member institutions in the continuous improvement of their Business programs and related educational activities.
to assist member institutions in utilizing outcomes assessment.
to establish a continuing relationship with individuals and groups, who are concerned with fostering the effectiveness of Business Education, including business and industry, government agencies, professional associations, and others throughout the world.
to provide information to member institutions and the public concerning issues in Business Education throughout the world.
to foster innovation and creativity in teaching and learning in Business Education throughout the world.
to provide workshops, publications, and consultation for administrators and faculty in Business Education.
to promote lawful and ethical practices in companies and organizations throughout the world.
